About Tokenza

What is Tokenza?

Tokenza is a marketplace where people can contribute to promising projects by giving money, or by offering expertise and freelancing services.

How does it work?

Tokenza’s community consists of project owners, backers, freelancers and curators:

  • Project owners submit promising projects to the community
  • Backers use TKZ tokens to support projects in which they want to invest
  • Freelancers offer worforce and services to the community, and get paid in TKZ
  • Backers get new tokens issued by projects in which they contributed
  • Curators earn TKZ to audit, review and rate projects and people

To ensure minimum TKZ market liquidity, Tokenza will use a significant amount of the funds raised during the token sale for market making.

What are the benefits of using Tokenza?

  • Help people fund brilliant ideas before anyone else
  • Purchase tokens from disruptive and game changing projects
  • Contribute to every step of the development, from the idea to the final product

For Entrepreneurs and Project Owners

  • Create crowdfunding campaigns without writing any single line of code
  • Hire freelancers, experts and bounty hunters to help you bring your project to life
How can I get economic benefits from Tokenza?

You can offer freelancing services and expertise to the community and get paid, or you can spend tokens to support inspiring projects.

What is Tokenza's business model?

Tokenza is an ecosystem where each participant is incentivized to play by the rules:

  • Freelancers earn money from project owners for delivering services.
  • Tokenza, which is playing the role of facilitator and escrow, takes a cut of 10% on each transaction generated through the freelancing market.
  • Recognized freelancers can create and manage Freelancing Alliances and earn a commission on each transaction generated through these alliances.
  • Backers earn new tokens issued by projects in which they have invested funds.
  • Curators earn money for rating and auditing projects, campaigns and freelancer gigs.

Tokenza also charges a service fee for successfully matching fundraising campaigns and backers. When a project raises funds through a successful fundraising round, the fee will vary from 2% to 7% depending on the value of the transaction.

What about your technology stack?

We use Golang for the back-end, VueJS for the front-end, and web3.js to talk to the Ethereum blockchain. For our solidity smart contracts, we use well-known patterns and code snippets from OpenZeppelin Framework (in which we made some contributions, see this, and this).

Can I join your team?

Feel free to contact us if you think you can add significant value to the project.
